Structural movement, moisture intrusion, and substrate failure cannot be resolved by any coating alone. This is exactly why we identify and repair underlying issues before painting begins — a paint job applied over an unresolved problem is not covered by any warranty in the industry.

The Iron-Clad Guarantee covers your overall satisfaction with the project — if you are not completely happy, we keep working until you are, or your paint is 100% free. The workmanship warranty is a separate, time-limited commitment that covers specific defects in our preparation and application — peeling, blistering, adhesion failure — for 2 to 5 years on interior projects and 5 to 10 years on exterior projects. Both are included in writing on every estimate.
Yes — without exception. Every estimate A New Leaf Painting provides includes the Iron-Clad Guarantee in writing. There is no minimum project size, no additional cost, and no conditions required beyond payment of the full contract price. It is our standard commitment on every single project we take on.

To keep your warranty valid you will need your original contract and proof of payment in full. Warranty repairs are performed only on the specific areas where the defect occurred and only to the level of preparation described in your original contract.
Every exterior estimate we provide includes line-item upgrade options — from the standard 5-year warranty to a 7-year warranty with Sherwin-Williams Duration or a 10-year warranty with Sherwin-Williams Emerald. The options and their costs are clearly itemized in your written estimate before you commit. No pressure — just transparent options so you can choose the level of protection that fits your goals and budget.
Painting over stucco does not prevent existing or future cracks from forming or reappearing — this is a characteristic of stucco as a material, not a function of the paint or our workmanship. Stucco cracks that form or reappear after painting are not covered by the workmanship warranty. If caulking or resealing is needed after project completion, a service call fee applies with a starting trip charge of $150. We are always transparent about this during the estimate process for any home with stucco surfaces.
Paint can be closely matched but rarely perfectly — environmental conditions, UV exposure, and the aging of existing paint all affect how colors read over time. Warranty repairs address workmanship defects, not exact color matching between new and aged paint. If color consistency is a priority, we recommend a full repaint of the affected surface rather than a spot repair — and we will advise you of this during the estimate process.
